Galaxy S6 Plus rumored to launch this month with upgraded specs

The Galaxy S6 Plus could arrive way sooner than expected according to one new report. Italian site HDBlog claims Samsung could unveil the super-sized flagship phone within the next few weeks, citing several “reliable” anonymous sources.

The device will allegedly be a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. SamMobile adds that it may come equipped with a 5.4 or 5.5-inch curved AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 32GB of storage. It apparently won’t support Samsung’s S Pen stylus, however. (more…)

HTC confirms ads are coming to BlinkFeed

HTC’s BlinkFeed is going to start displaying native ads, which shouldn’t come as a huge surprise since it’s been mentioned before. The Taiwanese company discussed the dreadful news again on Tuesday, explaining that users in a limited number of markets will see a limited number of promotions for sponsored apps and HTC accessories. Moto 360 finally receives Android 5.1.1 update

It’s about time (pun intended). The best Android Wear smartwatch is finally getting updated to Android 5.1.1, giving the wearable some great new capabilities. We detailed what’s available in the update using the LG Watch Urbane, but this? Big update coming to Google Hangouts for Android

Looks like the big Hangouts overhaul everyone has been asking for is finally on the way. Thanks to Android Police, we have what appears to be a completely redesigned Hangouts for Android, not only making the app prettier to look at, but more functional overall. Cortana for Android arrives in July!!


We have known for a little while now that Cortana would be coming to Android and iOS, and word had it the Android version would be arriving toward the end of this month. In a blog post today related toCortana and the Xbox, however, Microsoft slipped in a little detail: Cortana for Android will be arriving some time in July. Next month will bring around the beta test for the Android Cortana app, says the company; it isn’t clear when the beta will end. (more…)
